Join me for this immensely uplifting interview with trained surgeon and medical doctor (MD) Alejandra (Ale) Huante from San Miguel de Allende, México.
Ale is also a specialist in homeopathy, nutrition, an energy healer, and teaches at the Universidad Anáhuac, one of the most prestigious universities in México.
Ale has been teaching homeopathy at the university’s “med school” for the last 9 years and now also teaches “alternative and integrative medicine,” including acupuncture, medicine plants, meditation, energy medicine, tapping and “every other way to heal.”
Ale dives into a fascinating conversation about how her colleagues and students at the university perceive her, and part of her “job in this world” being “to help med students know there are different ways to heal.”
Ale passionately volunteers her skills to Centro Suma, a “non-profit civil association that provides comprehensive and interdisciplinary care to people who were born with cleft lip and palate” but have little or no no money for the surgery “so that they can have a complete rehabilitation and therefore a full social integration.”

Ale starts the conversation by explaining when she was only 7 years old, suffering from tonsil infections, her paediatrician decided to remove her tonsils which led to chronic sinus issues and visiting a homeopath.
The medicine provided by the homeopath stopped the runny nose and headaches after the first dose. Training in medical school, she later saw how she was healing faster with homeopathy than those being submitted to hospital.
Ale then explains that when she was told she would lose her baby because the placenta was bruised and not attached properly, her homeopathist advised arnica and the placenta was attached and healed within 2 weeks.
She dives deeper into how homeopathy heals from the inside where as allopathic medicine covers up symptoms.
During her studies at the School of Homeopathy of Mexico, she was taught in the first semester that vaccines are not necessary and “our bodies are perfectly made to build all the things that we need for the viruses and the bacterias - all the antobodies are made in our body.”
Training in Energy Medicine by Donna Edan, Ale can now see someone’s aura and understands that “everyone is energy, we’re made out of energy, and we can feel other people’s energy” which also helps her to “identify what the problem is” with her patients.
When Covid happened, the enforced ‘health rules’ like lockdowns, masks and fast-tracked vaccines did not make sense to Ale who asked “Why do they want people to get vaccines? Why don’t we have freedom to choose?”
Looking for more information, Ale followed a famous researcher in Mexico called Dr. Karina Acevedo, a veterinarian with a masters degree in immunology, and also found the Conscious People’s Network (then Covid Positive News).
Next Ale dives deep into how you need to be a medical doctor in Mexico to study homeopathy, and there are clinics across the country, but still people generally believe homeopathy is just sugar pills.
She explains how she is the only homeopathist working in any of the cleft lip and palate centres across all of Mexico, and staff at Centro Suma gradually started to believe in homeopathy after Ale began demonstrating to those working and volunteering at the centre that homeopathy closes wounds following cleft palate surgery, which would usually result in further surgery being unnecessary.
Ale provides some of the history of homeopathy, and explains how homeopathy works, before diving into mandatory Covid vaccines during the pandemic in Mexico.
Next Ale explains that Centro Suma, where she has been volunteering for 16 years, began because “I live in a poor country, not everybody has this access to health, and especially for surgeries, so we made this Centro for the kids that were not able to pay for a surgery.”
Centro Suma is run by volunteer plastic surgeons, nutritionists, dentists, maxillofacial surgeons, psychologists, speech therapists and more, offering an integrative health hub where poor children pay what they can while having access to all the specialists “in the same place” for cleft lip and palate surgery and full holistic recovery.
I share with Ale how it is really inspiring to be able to donate to something directly when you know that it really is going directly to the children and going to make a real difference in a child’s life.
Ale finishes with sharing her advice for people feeling doom and gloom and “we don’t stand a chance”, how she tunes in to her intuition, and her positive prediction for the future of allopathic medicine and alternative modalities.
“My advice would be follow your heart, follow your intuition, .. If it’s telling you that treatment is not right for you .. follow your heart because sometimes they just want you to follow their rules instead of following your rules - and ‘your rules’ is to follow your intuition, follow your heart.”
